The finalists have been unveiled in The Longitude Prize on Dementia, a more than 5 and a half million dollar prize funded by Alzheimer’s Society and Innovate UK and delivered by Challenge Works. They include high tech specs and a smartwatch that learns daily routines and more. Our Mary Furlong was among the judges and she and Fred are joined by panel chair Dr. John O’Brien of the University of Cambridge and fellow judge Nic Palmarini, Director at the National Innovation Centre Ageing in the UK.
